Is this allowed by Vinted?

Every action is built to mimic a thoughtful human seller, not a script. Relist windows are randomised across a wide range rather than scheduled, photos shift subtly each cycle so they don't trip duplicate detection, likers are messaged at human-pace delays, and every bulk job backs off the instant Vinted's responses slow down. The goal is for your account to read as an attentive seller who spends real time on the marketplace — not as automation. That said, no third-party tool can guarantee zero platform risk; use sensible cadence, keep the conservative defaults, and let the built-in rate-limit protections do their job.

We can't make that promise. We've engineered conservative defaults: randomised relist windows, per-action rate-limit backoff, photo modifications that defeat duplicate detection, and engage speeds capped by plan. We've sold thousands of items running this without issues — but operate at speeds you're comfortable with.

What about my data?

Your queue, logs, templates, and session data stay on your device in chrome.storage.local — they never reach our servers. We never see, read, or store your Vinted password or login cookies; the extension piggy-backs on the Vinted session you've already opened in your browser, so your credentials never leave your machine. The only outbound traffic is the requests the extension makes on your behalf to the marketplace you're already signed into, and a small call to our auth backend to check your plan. No analytics, no tracking, no resale.

Does my computer have to be on for the extension to run?

Yes — the extension lives inside Chrome's service worker, so Chrome has to be open and the OS must not be fully asleep. The good news: you don't need the screen on. On macOS: System Settings → Lock Screen → set 'Turn display off' to 1 minute, but in Battery → Options enable 'Prevent automatic sleeping on power adapter when the display is off' (Intel: 'Prevent computer from sleeping…'). A laptop on charger with the lid closed will sleep — keep the lid open, or run `caffeinate -di` from Terminal as a one-liner override. On Windows: Settings → System → Power → Screen and sleep → set 'When plugged in, put my device to sleep after' to Never (display can still sleep). If the machine does sleep, the relist queue pauses and resumes automatically the next time Chrome wakes — nothing is lost.
